Very welcoming friendly place. The staff a very good. The doctors are very professional, Massages and morning yoga was an eye opener,will definitely try to carry this on in my day to day life. The atmosphere is truly amazing, the rooms are very clean, all your questions and needs are seen to promptly. The family running the business are very caring .it is a must to visit. All types of catering and special diets are maintained at a very high standard. Loved every minute of our 7 day stay here,will really miss it..

We stayed at this retreat for a week. . It has been a mind blowing experience that will always be most memorable for long. We went for Ayurvedic rejuvenation but we were pleasantly surprised by the offering that was far beyond our expectations. The property, facilities and the hospitality are 7+ star equivalent. The staff attitude is awesome and everyone is wanting to give their best for the guests. Everything is new, fresh and wholesome at the property. The organic , healthy Kerala cuisine that is being served is simply awesome. One would realise this if one has travelled extensively. The food is very healthy tasty and high quality. No dish is repeated and there is a very healthy mix of protein, carb and fibre. Awesome place for those are foodies (healthy balanced non fatty food). The massage treatment and the doctors are very professional and offer very good advice with effective outcomes. All this, admist lush green forest filled with exotic plants and trees that is serene and filled with the music of birds is most relaxing for the mind . Overall, this place is mind blowing and very good value for money. My best wishes to the management and staff of Softouch 🙏🏼 Keep up the great attitude and spirit !! We made a detour from our original tour plan and decided to stay at Softouch for three days in June. With not much expectations and guided by some You Tube videos we landed there one early afternoon. What followed was a mesmerising experience which will last a lifetime. Nestled in lush greenery on the bank’s of Chalakudy river, this resort is run by Karadan family giving a personal touch to every service offering. From the moment you are picked up from the airport till the time they personally drop you back; they make sure that you cherish every moment and get more than your money’s worth. The entire set of villas and rooms are designed by Mr Kraradan himself with a unique blend of Kerala antique and contemporary styles. The small pond within the house giving a rainforest feel was amazing. Through the day you can find him immersed in various activities and giving directions to the staff thus ensuring that the this Ayurveda village provides international level services. He regaled us with stories on how this amazing place was set up inspite of the various set backs they faced. For yoga enthusiasts there is morning yoga. The doctors, Anjana and Sreelakshmi personally ensure that the right rejuvenation treatments are provided. The treatment itself was impeccable the best that you can be got. Mrs Karadan ensures the cuisine provided is lip-smacking; and personally supervises the preparation. There are beautiful temples and churches nearby. The Chalakudy market with reasonably priced shops is also where one can look forward to shop before leaving the Ayurvedic Village. Overall we left the place yearning for more and promising to visit again soon. Mrs Karadan dropped us to the airport also giving us packets of local delicacies. We wish them well and hoping to go back soon

Athirapilly Falls

The Vadakkumnathan Temple
The Vadakkumnathan Temple is an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva in Thrissur, in the Thrissur district of Kerala, India. You are requested to produce the following information along with a health declaration form:
- Recent medical history for each guest

- Details of travel, including all stops made en route

- Carry breathable and flexible clothes for Yoga
- The voucher will be generated 24 hours after receiving the full payment
- Amal Tamara representative will contact you 24 to 48 hours before your arrival to confirm your check-in time and mode of transport. This is critical to ensure a flawless check-in experience.
ID Card Type
- Indian nationals are requested to provide photo identity proof in the form of a driver’s license, voter’s ID, or passport. This is mandatory for completing the registration process at the time of check-in.
- Foreign nationals are requested to produce their passport with a valid entry visa. For those on employment or permanent residence, passports must include a residential permit. This is mandatory for completing the registration process at the time of check-in and preparation of the C Form.

Program & Diet Policies
- Kindly refrain from keeping your legs over the table or chair in public areas such as the lobby, etc as it is considered ill-mannered.
- Adequate clothing is required when using public areas such as the library, home theatre, restaurant, reception, and lounges.
- Reduce noise levels in the room, dining area, and public spots to maintain the calmness and not disturb other guests’ experience.
- Prepare your body and mind for Ayurvedic treatment by taking care of your diet, avoiding alcohol and smoking. Smoking is not allowed inside the resort.
- If you wish to tip the staff, there is a common tipping box located at the Dining area which will be distributed among all team members or you can also tip the Therapist directly.
Room Service Policy
All wellness meals as per body constitution are included in the package. In-room dining service is available ONLY on doctors’ recommendation after certain treatments and not otherwise.
Wi-Fi Policy
Complimentary. As part of a digital detox, Amal Tamara recommends refraining from Wi-Fi usage after 22:00 hours.
Visitors Policy
The right to admission of visitors into the retreat premises and guest areas remains solely with the management.
Alcohol Policy
Alcohol, smoking, and tobacco chewing are not permitted during your Ayurveda program and are strictly prohibited across the Amal premises.

Pet Policy
Pets are not allowed in the retreat.
- If cancelled at any point, 20% of the booking amount will be charged
- Cancellations within 15-30 days incur 50% retention, within 10 days full retention applies.
- Postponed booking are dealt on a case to case basis, we remain committed to staying flexible
- Even if the booking is cancelled within the grace period and qualifies for a refund, payment gateway charges will be deducted from the refunded amount.
