Namami is located on the banks of river Periyar, away from the busy city life, yet very close to the Cochin (Kochi) International Airport and is quite accessible. I spent 14 days here to treat sciatic nerve and other lifestyle related issues, I would say this is one of the best-ever Ayurveda getaways I have ever experienced. Namami has an excellent medical team lead by Dr. M.R. Dulari, who brings in commendable experience of handling both wellness and curative streams from his years at best organizations including Soukya International Holistic Health Centre, Bangalore. Apart from the medical team including Dr. Bejoy Mathew, therapy team requires special mention. Namami has the best Ayurveda therapists available in the industry.
Namami offers ultimate luxury any five star resort in India could offer, they pamper you to the extent possible, but ensure that you are well kept within the prescribed diet, without any complaints. Namami’s kitchen offers you anything imaginable, with vegetables-most of them organic. They surprised my guests with exotic vegetarian preparations in Mediterranean, Mexican, Continental styles. Hats off to Chef Akhil who leads the team. Special mention to Chef Joseph, who handled many of my guests and took care of my weird requests to serve me bruschetta sticking to the dietary instructions issued.
I did have several inspiring sessions with Dr. Sajith Varma, Director-Ayurveda at Namami during my stay. Hailing from the Zamorin’s family of Calicut, Dr. Varma is an experience you would like to cherish!
I would like to thank Mr. Ravi Varma, General Manager- Sales & Marketing who convinced me to experience Namami at least once. Ravi doesn’t speak the lingo of a atypical marketer, he communicates in black and white, never giving you false hopes; you can always count on him.
I would like to recall a few more names; including Arun Kumar, Manikandan, Gladwin who helped me to have a peaceful stay here. I would recommend this place to anyone seeks leisure Ayurveda, those who want to go for a curative Ayurveda, I would suggest discussing with the well informed medical team here before you plan your trip.
